Al Qaryan Plastic is a subsidiary company established in the year 2022 situated in the 2nd industrial city Dammam. At AQP we are changing the way the world sees plastics recycling, creating highly valuable plastic resins at a significant environmental and economic benefit to our customers.
AQP broke the code and figured out how to recover pure plastics from industrial as well as PCR waste to make it more sustainable in every sense.
Currently with the capacity of 10,000 MTPA for plastic recycling and 7000 MTPA for PE Wax AQP is dedicated to processing all kinds of Polyethylene and Polypropylene in phase I. AQP have its own expansion plan in terms of quantity and adding capability to process more types of plastic waste in upcoming years.
AQP provides quality recycled polymers as raw feed to end users and helps them to close the circularity loop and achieve sustainability goal altogether.
Closing the loop: High-value plastics, less energy.
Post Consumer Recycled Plastics require less than 20% of the energy needed to produce virgin from petrochemicals, saving enormous amounts of greenhouse gases. To achieve this, we first separate polymeric materials from highly complex waste products. In the second step we clean, sort, and purify the resulting plastics by type and grade until they’re ready for re-use in demanding applications – replacing virgin plastics and closing the loop.
We first feed plastics rich shredder residue into process for size reduction. Then we’re removing non-plastics like metal, rubber, wood, glass, fluff, foam, textiles or dirt.
During washing and preparation, we’re removing non-target plastics. Polyolefin purification cleans and sorts of PP and PE polymers.
After we cleaned the waste, we’re formulating, blending and compounding the granulates. After quality checks, certification and packaging, our customers receive our clean and sustainable product.
